I’m originally from the Midwest, but I’m out here in Boulder finishing up my degree in Strategic Communications at the University of Colorado Boulder. Most of my time is spent in that 'creative mode.’

When I’m not creating, I’m probably consuming some kind of media. Music is a huge part of my life; I play guitar and piano, but I’m just as happy blasting a playlist in my car. I’ve also been on a massive movie kick lately, trying to build up my Letterboxd following to get recognized and go to a movie premiere (fingers crossed). And when I finally put the remote down, it’s usually to read through as much Agatha Christie as I can get my hands on.

Whether I’m practicing a new song on my guitar, writing a review for a movie I just finished, or trying to solve a plot twist in a novel, I’m always looking at how stories are put together. I try to bring that same energy into my work at CU, focusing on how a good narrative and the visual side of things can come together. It’s all part of the same process for me—finding the 'why' behind the story and finding new ways to share it.
